Our first day of potty training.
6:30 Woken up by our alarm Clark. Taken immediately to the potty by his dad. Goes #1 successfully.
6:33 Puts on his first pair of big boy undies (Lightning McQueen). Horton also sports a pair.
7:20 Eats breakfast
7:30 sits on the potty. Nothing happens.
8:00 Goes #2 in his Lightning McQueens.
8:02 Sits on the potty again. Nothing happens. Gets new underoos (snatched off of Horton's behind).
8:10 Goes #1 while playing with his legos. Gets new underoos.
8:12 Mom puts a load of laundry in, realizing that three pairs of Cars underoos are just not going to cut it.
Its 9:27 right now. I've just got to get through this week, right?

Keep it up! And yes, get LOTS of underwear. It's worth it the first few days. He'll catch on. Just have the potty accessible for him to go on his own. The first day or two are hard but hang in there! We did the same thing with Emma. I initially put the potty chair on a towel in the living room so she could get to it easier and maybe sit on it while watching TV or something to just get used to it. After she was a pro on that, I moved it into the bathroom...and of course, LOTS of candy was involved. Good luck! Can't wait to see what happens!

People keep telling me it's worthy it...we're potty training as well. It had gotten better, we're just not quite 100% yet. Good luck!!
