Urge is a rip off. Its like renting music. Once your two week subscription ends, the files are encrypted to EXPLODE in your computer! Actually, they are just useless. But they still work on the MP3 player, so I guess its not totally futile. But now we aren't as excited by it. We're suckers. Hopefully a cult leader doesn't approach us with promises of a free two-week trial of salvation. I hope our readers are good enough friends to stage an intervention if it comes to that.

Hey, I know a naughty way you can find music but I don't want to corrupt you and Ben so I'll just keep quiet.
Dani. Our entire CD collection consists of Russian bootlegs. Don't worry about corruption. . . what's your secret???
It's called limewire.com. Kurt and I use it all the time. But don't tell anyone.
Your secret is totally safe.
MyBen uses it too...
I think what you were using was called Music Renting. I read an article about it today
Music renting? How are people okay with this idea at all?!?
In my defense, I only use Limewire when the song isn't available on iTunes. . . but usually that leads to me looking up a bunch of songs on Limewire without even checking whether or not they're available on iTunes.
For the record, we deleted all of the files that we had downloaded. It wasn't too much of a rip off because it was free in the beginning. We were just hoping that we could keep them for free.
