A marvelous day. . .

Yesterday was just wonderful. Think of something great that you would love to see happen, and it happened. Did you think, "I wish I had some place to wear this ugly sweater again"? Well, that happened for us--Ben got to wear his entire Ugly Sweater outfit (and a gas mask) to paint parts on his motorcycle. He probably wouldn't call it an outfit, but there it is.

Did you think, "I think it would be wonderful if everything was going well with Baby Clark"? Well, we went to the doctor and she said that he is in the "exit" position, head down, legs tucked in and arms crossed like he's at the top of the Free Fall at Seven Peaks (okay, I made that last part up. . . she didn't tell me that, but from the way he's kicking and kneeing me in the stomach I can assume that is his position). She also said I am progressing - one whole centimeter.

Did you think "Sheesh, Clark's blessing outfit needs to be done soon, since he is so close". Well, don't worry about it. I finished it last night.

Probably, you thought "Wouldn't it be great if Ben got a scholarship and in-state tuition at San Antonio". WELL THAT HAPPENED TOO!!!! Good bye quarter-of-a-million dollars of debt, hello. . . less debt (though debt will still be part of our reality).

And if you were thinking, "I sure could go for some salmon and vegetables" its too late. We had them last night too.

Just wanted to document this momentous day. Thanks for listening.

Wow, that is one incredible day.
Another thing you could add to the list might be that you found time to post a blog.

What a great day! I have a little something something to add. I decided that since I am to become a serious grandma this year (yea) I better start looking like one. So I found the like-new accessories for the job on Craig's list. That's right, yesterday I picked up a portable bassinet, high chair and baby swing. These will be available for all grandchildren starting now. I hope you all cause a traffic jam in our driveway...

Thanks for being so supportive guys. We haven't had another blockbuster day since then. But I would love to hear about yours. . . In fact, I don't know if I have even planned a good meal since then. I guess it comes in spurts.

Seven Peaks? Baby Clark must know he's in for the ride of his life! Boring doctor appointments are the best!!!!!

Okay. I've been thinking about it and I realized my comment made no sense. Sorry. I meant to say that Seven Peaks has nothing on the ride Clark is about to go on, and it is very exciting that you're already one centimeter. The bad kind of exciting is when you have to see a lot more doctors and they have to do extra tests and it takes all day and you end up crying yourself to sleep (I have some personal experience...). I'm glad everything is going so well! :)

That is so exciting about San Antonio. My best friend from here is moving there as well. The Ramptons are starting a Residency. You will definately have to meet them.
Love,
