We Made It!

We made it to Utah. No incidents, no accidents, no tickets, no high blood pressure, no fights, no breakdowns (except for Clark one night, but the car was fine), and no lack of sweet music.

I love road trips.

Clark watched Toy Story three times, Robin Hood twice, Cars twice and Over the Hedge 1/2 times. Tonight when Ben got his laptop out to work on some (lame) research Clark ran over to him VERY excited. He thought he was going to watch a movie. Instead he got to go to bed.

We had a great trip and we are so excited to be here at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Bountiful. Today I got to spend all day with Clark--no other projects, committments, visits or distractions. I almost didn't know what to do with myself. Its interesting that a stay-at-home-mom would find a day at home with her child an anomoly, but it really is. We moms are much busier than the world would have you think.

I'll continue blogging, but only when important things happen. The chicken salad we had tonight was worth blogging about, but I didn't get a picture.

Jan, I'm so glad that you get / got to go to Utah. Did you really drive that red car there?? Also, we feel your pain. Our Camry was broken into on Monday of last week in Dallas. Lots of fun! We are now in the process of filing the insurance claims; yea for USAA. The only thing I really care about getting back is our Garmin. I seriously don't know how I am going to get around all of the highways, freeways, and frontage roads without it. The other thing I want back is irreplaceable--all of Ryan's contact information for jobs. FUN!!! Anyway, I love the picture of your family--super cute!
