For the last week or so, Clark has been so difficult. never wants to be set down, won't go to sleep on his own, cries out when he eats. . . I thought, if I can't handle this, how am I supposed to get through teething.
Then as I was giving him a drink out of his little homemade cup (which I am very proud of) I heard a scraping-clinking sound that seemed out of place. Upon further investigation, I discovered two tiny teeth emerging from his bottom gums.
Unfortunately, his mouth is shaped in such a way that you can't ever see the teeth, only feel them. He sticks his little tongue right over the top of them when I try to take a peek.
I am SO glad that there is a reason for his orneriness, and now we are both happy because I know that I can give him medicine and I'm not just selfishly doping him.

Woah. Teeth? Jan, that's big! Good luck with that. Haven's not in any hurry, but she's being a snot anyway. I really want to see this homemade cup.
Congratulations! When does he start getting French Fries?
Has the boy eaten anything solider than jell-o yet?
what kind of mother would feed her baby jell-o? Same one that fills their bottles with Coke?
He eats the following:
Rice cereal
Oatmeal
Sweet potatoes
pears
applesauce
some juice with water in it.
Good luck with the teething phase. It can be rough sometimes. Anytime I try to take a peek at Lizzy's teeth, she just bites my finger - REALLY HARD! She even drew blood the last time! She's going through a phase where she thinks she's a dog....hmm ....maybe that's the reason for the biting! Anyway...Good luck!
Teeth huh? Who needs teeth anyway? :) We miss you guys.
