We're HERE!!!

There are freeways EVERYWHERE! We are definately out of Utah.

Ben and his dad arrived safely on Monday afternoon and had all of the boxes moved into the apartment by that evening. They even had help from a member of the Elder's Quorum here. They did a great job setting it all up and getting a washer and dryer.

Jan and Clark arrived Wednesday afternoon after two pretty good flights. The only incidents that marred the day were a Gogurt that squirted all over Jan's hair in the Denver airport, and Clark's 20-minute hysteria as the plane descended into San Antonio. Everyone else onboard was very sympathetic. . . his poor little ears just didn't adjust.

The weather is rainy today, muggy and warm. It's kind of nice.

Thanks to the Gillespies for a fabulous extended weekend! We will miss you so much.

I am so glad you made it there safely. I'm sorry Clark had a bit of a traumatic experience on the way down. I tend to cry when landing too :), but thats because I'm scared of flying. Thanks for hanging out with us on your last night in town! We'll miss you guys! Love ya, and can't wait to see pictures of your new place.

WELCOME to Texas. Now its time to get rattlesnake boots, a belt buckle with a bottle opener on it, and you are now allowed to officially use the words yall.

Watch out for the Texas mafia, though. Rumor has it, you've only got a certain number of times you can let out a "Yeee-haaaw!" They don't tell you how many...they just let you know when you've gone past your limit.

Sweet. I actually brought some snake skin boots with me. . . they are plastic, but they look real. We'll look around for a belt buckle that you have described. Maybe you could point us in the right direction?

When are we going to meet in the middle?

i think they sell those belt buckles at truck stops and the like, try there.

We're glad that your arrived without any major glitches. Thanks for all the food you gave us as you cleaned out the fridge. It has actually inspired quite a few meals, and we think of you each time we eat some of it.

Now we really have to be blogging friends... now that we're not neighbors. :(
