If you are going to take a nap, be assured that these things will happen to you:
Your phone will ring no less than three times. You may only get three calls a day, but they will all occur during the time of your nap.
As soon as one baby falls asleep, the other will wake up.
As soon as you give up hope for both babies sleeping, and decide to shower and get on with life, both babies will sleep for 2.5 hours.
Its just the way it is.
p.s. We just got some one-month free Netflix offers. If anyone is interested in trying Netflix, email me and we'll hook you up for a month.

good work on blogging.
Also, when you are able to take a nap, you find yourself unable to relax enough because you think one of these things will happen any second.
That is so true!! I don't think I've had a nap in months for one or more of those reasons.
hey jan!
found your blog on denise's...eva is such a doll!
it was fun to see you again today! Ü
Having been my roommate, Jan you probably remember my love of sleeping and taking naps. I think now that I am about to become the mother of twins in addition to my two-year-old, I think I can say that my days of taking naps are officially over. Hopefully, I will find time to get any sleep in at all! Maybe the next time you come to visit, you and I will take naps, while our husbands watch all of the kids :) Good luck in the meantime :)
amen!
Your kids are so stinkin' cute!
Too true. And sad.
Unfortunately, this is entirely TRUE. I think every mom can vouch for you on this one. Hang in there. The naps will come.
