Update

Hi Everyone,
Sorry that we haven't been answering calls. . . we've had a rather rough day. Last night, the nurse noticed that Clark was a little "jittery" and so she sent him down to have a glucose test--which he failed. 50% of acceptable (25/50). So he spent the night in the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit), then all day today. And he is probably going to be there for another few days. He's getting stronger with his IV and his feeding tube, but the poor little guy just wasn't getting the hang of eating on his own.

We'll keep you posted about how things are going--especially as good news comes. We're trying to get used to seeing his cute little Yoda face with a feeding tube in his cute little Yoda nose, but we know that it is ultimately for his own good. We welcome all prayers on his behalf.

We are still concerned but know of the good folks that work at the NICU.
My mother was supervisor there for 20 years and nursed many small babies back to health. So, I do know of the concern -- but I HAVE GREAT FAITH in the folks at Logan Regional Hospital. They are terrific. Sounds like your physicians are on top of this as well. PHIL RASMUSSEN

I am sorry to hear that Clark is having a hard time. I am sure that all will be well. We will be praying for him and for both of you!
